Since the beginning of this year, more than 32.8 thousand new passenger cars have been sold. The bestseller of the first half of the year was the compact crossover RENAULT Duster.
More than 32.8 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Ukraine from January to June 2024. This is 21% more than in the same period last year, reports Ukravtoprom.
It was noted that the compact crossover RENAULT Duster became a bestseller in the first half of the year.
The top ten models of new passenger cars with the greatest demand include:
RENAULT Duster – 3324 units;
TOYOTA RAV-4 – 2276 units;
VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 1072 units;
MAZDA CX5 – 876 units;
KIA Sportage – 843 units;
HYUNDAI Tucson – 653 units;
TOYOTA Camry – 601 units;
SUZUKI SX4 – 580 units;
SKODA Kodiaq – 552 units;
VOLKSWAGEN Touareg – 552 units.
It was earlier reported that the government’s bill to increase the military tax on the purchase of new passenger cars to 15% has caused an unprecedented upheaval in the car market.
