The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine rose to UAH 41.15, and the euro exchange rate jumped to UAH 44.80.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia drops sharply against the dollar and the euro on the cash market on the last day of the working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, July 12.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by another 10 kopecks, to 41.15 UAH, the exchange rate of the euro immediately jumped by 20 kopecks, to 44.80 UAH.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 40.65 UAH, and euros for 44.00 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 40.98-41.00 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 9 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank raised the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate to a historical maximum – 40.8823 UAH (+0.1677 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 44.3818 UAH (+0.3042 UAH). This is also a new record.
We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers predicts a further increase in the dollar exchange rate. According to the Budget Declaration, in 2025 the average exchange rate will increase by 10%, up to 45 UAH/dollar. At the same time, the budget for 2024 includes an average exchange rate of 40.7 UAH/dollar and 42.1 UAH/dollar in December.
It was also reported that the cash dollar exchange rate increased for the fourth consecutive month. In June, it increased by 1.7% to UAH 40.85.
