The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased to UAH 41.00, and the euro exchange rate decreased to UAH 44.50.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened slightly against the dollar and euro in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Wednesday, July 10.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks, to 41.00 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks, to 44.50 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 40.50 UAH, and a euro for 43.80 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency exchange rate was 40.70-40.70 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 8 kopecks compared to the previous day’s closing.
Last day, the National Bank raised the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate to a new historical high – UAH 407,662 (+0.0662 UAH). Today’s euro exchange rate is 44.0846 UAH (+0.0065 UAH). This is also an all-time high.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine’s reserves were reduced for the third month. In June, the National Bank spent about $3 billion to cover the shortage of foreign currency in the market and pay off debts.
Meanwhile, the cash dollar exchange rate rose for the fourth consecutive month. In June, it increased by 1.7% to UAH 40.85.
