The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to 41.05 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 44.55 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate continues to decline against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Tuesday, July 9.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks to 41.05 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to 44.55 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices bought dollars for an average of 40.58 UAH, and euros for 43.85 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 40.72-40.74 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 2 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia to the level of UAH 40.7000 (+0.1580 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 44.0781 UAH (+0.2157 UAH). This is a new all-time high.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine’s reserves decreased for the third month in a row. In June, the National Bank spent about $3 billion to cover the shortage of foreign currency in the market and pay off debts.
Meanwhile, the cash dollar exchange rate rose for the fourth consecutive month. In June, it increased by 1.7% to UAH 40.85.
Also last week, the dollar exchange rate updated its historical record.
