Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov has filed a lawsuit against Russia in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), the SCM press service reported on Monday, June 27th.

“Russia’s crimes against Ukraine and every Ukrainian are horrible. Those responsible must be punished. He asked the ECHR to hold the aggressor country accountable for the destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure, theft and theft of export goods. Akhmetov’s interests are represented by the international law firm Covington & Burling LLP.

In addition to the lawsuit, the businessman asked the court to take urgent interim measures that would prevent further blockage of Ukrainian ports, theft, theft of grain, as well as steel produced by SCM businesses.
