The regulator raised the dollar exchange rate to a record level, although in the interbank market the American currency fell by 7 kopecks.
The National Bank of Ukraine has again reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro. The American currency updated its historical record. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, July 3.
The official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 40.7599 (+0.1063 UAH). The previous record was set the previous day.
In turn, the euro exchange rate increased further and tomorrow will be 43.8495 UAH (+0.1518 UAH).
Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the dollar fell by 7 kopecks to 40.69-40.73 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
And in the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to UAH 41.00.
We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers predicts a further increase in the dollar exchange rate. According to the Budget Declaration, in 2025 the average exchange rate will increase by 10% to 45 UAH/dollar. At the same time, the budget for 2024 includes an average exchange rate of 40.7 UAH/dollar and 42.1 UAH/dollar in December.
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the growth of the dollar. At the same time, the regulator ensures that the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine remains under control.
