In the interbank market, the American currency jumped by 11 kopecks to 40.78-40.80 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank raised the dollar/hryvnia exchange rate to a new historic high. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, July 2.
The official exchange rate for Wednesday was set at 40.7476 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.1063 UAH). The previous maximum was recorded on June 14 – 40.6908. The euro exchange rate tomorrow will be 43.6977 UAH per 1 euro (+0.0124 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency jumped by 11 kopecks to 40.78-40.80 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks – 40.90 UAH.
We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers predicts a further increase in the dollar exchange rate. According to the Budget Declaration, in 2025 the average exchange rate will increase by 10% to 45 UAH/dollar. At the same time, the budget for 2024 includes an average exchange rate of 40.7 UAH/dollar and 42.1 UAH/dollar in December.
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the growth of the dollar. At the same time, the regulator ensures that the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine remains under control.
