Coca-Cola re-registers trademarks in Russia – media

The company allegedly left the Russian market in 2022 after the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, and in April of this year filed three applications for registration of trademarks of the same name to Rospatent.

Coca-Cola, which previously left the Russian Federation, is re-registering its trademarks in Russia. This move could indicate the company’s plans to return to the Russian market, wrote the Russian newspaper Vedomosti, citing the Rospatent database.

The Coca-Cola Company left the Russian market in 2022 after the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, and in April of this year the company filed three applications for the registration of trademarks of the same name in Rospatent .

In the spring, it was reported that the Russian division of Coca-Cola had quadrupled its revenue over the past year. The company continues to make a lot of money in the country, hiding under another name – Good Cola.
