The hryvnia exchange rate fell slightly against the dollar and continued its decline against the euro in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, June 13.

So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks – to 40.95 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 15 kopecks – to 44.45 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 40.45 hryvnia, and euros for 43.75 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 40.53-40.57 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine yesterday lowered the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia after growing for four days in a row – 40.4441 UAH (-0.0737 UAH). The official euro exchange rate today is 43.5320 UAH (+0.0726 UAH).
Let’s recall that in the last two days the hryvnia strengthened against the euro after the results of the European Parliament elections were announced.
Earlier, the National Bank explained the reasons for the sharp increase in the dollar exchange rate in May. According to the regulator, demand for foreign currency jumped 41% last month.
