The average selling dollar exchange rate is now 40.57 UAH, and the euro has fallen in price to 44.49 UAH.
The hryvnia exchange rate continued to strengthen against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, June 6.
So, the average dollar exchange rate in the sale lost more than 10 kopecks and now stands at 40.57 Hryvnia. The purchase rate is already below the 40 hryvnia mark – 39.94 UAH.
The average exchange rate of the selling euro decreased by another 4 kopecks – to UAH 44.49. In the purchase, the average rate fell by 8 kopecks – 43.74 UAH per euro.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at 40.15-40.18 UAH per dollar (purchase/sale). Yesterday’s trading ended on these notes.
On the third day, the National Bank of Ukraine reduces the official dollar exchange rate. Today it is set at UAH 40.1254 (-0.1684 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 43.6083 UAH (-0.1588 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank explained the reasons for the growth of the dollar in May. According to the regulator, demand for foreign currency jumped 41% last month.
At the same time, in the first week of June, the official exchange rate of the hryvnia began to rise noticeably.
