By the end of May, Ukraine almost doubled its electricity imports and imported a record 448 thousand MWh. This is confirmed by tracking data from ExPro Consulting, published on Monday, June 3.
It was indicated that electricity export decreased three times last month – to 3878 MWh. And since May 12, no more exports.
The largest share in the import structure is occupied by Hungary – 45.8%, and the smallest by Moldova (7%). In total, imports come from five EU countries.
At the same time, most imports are attracted at 20:00, on average 1394 MW.

Let’s recall that in the spring Russia launched six powerful missile strikes on Ukraine’s energy sector. The last of them was carried out on the night of June 1. The aggressors then destroyed energy facilities in five regions, including hydroelectric power stations and thermal power plants.
