“Today we accept a draft agreement between Ukraine and the United States, which will allow Ukraine to receive almost $7.9 billion in financial and economic support. These are funds as part of a new aid package of America ($61 billion,). – ed.), which will be sent to the budget of Ukraine,” he said.
Shmygal noted that this year Ukraine has already received $11.8 billion in international financial aid: these are funds from the IMF, the European Union, Japan, Canada and the UK.
The government also decided to attract up to 100 million euros from the European Investment Bank. This money will be used for lending to small and medium-sized businesses.
We remind you that Ukraine and the IMF agree on a new tranche of financing. Our country may receive $2.2 billion in early June.
