The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine remained at 39.95 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 43.15 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate stabilized against the dollar at exchange offices, but continued to depreciate against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, May 13.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine has not changed – 39.95 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate has increased by 10 kopecks – 43.15 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 39.45 Hryvnia, and a euro for 42.45 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.51-39.56 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Let us remind you that last Friday the National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate for the third day in a row at the level of 39.7206 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.1688 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.8148 UAH (+0.3836 UAH). This is a new all-time high. Previously, the rate was higher only on March 27 – 42.6911 UAH/euro.
It was also reported that over the past week the NBU has increased sales of foreign currency in the interbank market to more than $530 million.
