For Ukraine, analysts from the American Ministry predict a reduction in wheat harvest by 8.7% to 21 million tons.
According to American experts from the United States Department of Agriculture, the grain harvest in Ukraine, which is the most important export potential for the Ukrainian agricultural industry, will be lower than previously predicted. This was stated in the organization’s report on Sunday, May 12.

“In Ukraine this year, the grain harvest will reach no more than 21 million tons of wheat and 27 million tons of corn. Almost 33 million tons of grain will be forage crops,” experts predict.
They explained that corn will decrease due to the decrease in area under crops and lower yields.
In addition to Ukraine, a decrease in wheat harvest is predicted in Turkey and EU countries.
It is noted that Australia, Argentina, USA, Kazakhstan and Canada are increasing the export of wheat. Overall, USDA analysts expect global grain production to increase 1.1% in the next marketing year.
We remind you that last fall USAID provided Ukrainian farmers with 12 thousand tons of fertilizer for the autumn sowing season.
Kyiv received 30 mobile boiler houses from USAID
