Over the past two days, DTEK repair teams have restored power supplies to more than 4 thousand Ukrainians who were without power after the Russian shelling. The energy holding announced this on Saturday, May 11.
“On May 9 and 10, DTEK Network specialists restored power to residents of six settlements in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions,” the message said.
So, in the Donetsk region, which remains the zone of the most active conflict, repairmen restored electricity to 2.7 thousand customers.
The enemy did not stop attacking the Dnepropetrovsk region. The south of the region, near the combat zone, was particularly affected. Here, within two days, it is possible to restore the electricity supply to the homes of 1.5 thousand families.
The company noted that in some settlements near the combat zone, power engineers have restored power dozens of times and continue to do so. They start working as soon as they receive permission and access to the place of damage from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
We would like to remind you that in April, DTEK restored electricity supply to more than 300 thousand consumers who lost power due to the shelling of the Rashidists. Donetsk region suffered the most last month.
DTEK also recounted how many times they raised power plants from scratch. Just during another large-scale attack by the Russians, three thermal power plants were damaged.
