Last week alone, 912.9 thousand hectares were sown with grain and leguminous crops, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.
In the territory controlled by Ukraine, 4,320.2 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been sown. The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported this on Friday, May 10.
In particular, it is sown:

corn – 2,838 thousand hectares;

barley – 779.9 thousand hectares;

wheat – 244.9 thousand hectares;

peas – 161.6 thousand hectares;
-
oats – 165 thousand hectares;
-
millet – 28.5 thousand hectares;
-
buckwheat – 14.8 thousand hectares.
In the past week, 912.9 thousand hectares were sown with grain and leguminous crops. Most of all – in the Chernihiv region, 157.9 thousand hectares were sown there.
In the Kyiv region, 32.3 thousand hectares of wheat, 44.3 thousand hectares of barley, 5.8 thousand hectares of peas and 6.5 thousand hectares of oats were sown.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region – 28.3 thousand hectares of wheat, 50.5 thousand hectares of barley, 14.28 thousand hectares of peas, 1.2 thousand hectares of oats;
In Ternopil region – 18.9 thousand hectares of wheat, 63.6 thousand hectares of barley, 3.6 thousand hectares of peas and 5.1 thousand hectares of oats;
In Sumy region – 18.2 thousand hectares of wheat, 17.9 thousand hectares of barley, 5.6 thousand hectares of peas and 9.8 thousand hectares of oats;
In the Zhytomyr region – 17.5 thousand hectares of wheat, 19.3 thousand hectares of barley, 3 thousand hectares of peas and 26.5 thousand hectares of oats;
In the Khmelnitsky region – 14.8 thousand hectares of wheat, 59.1 thousand hectares of barley, 2.6 thousand hectares of peas and 2.5 thousand hectares of oats;
In the Chernihiv region – 12.3 thousand hectares of wheat, 16.5 thousand hectares of barley, 5.9 thousand hectares of peas and 23.1 thousand hectares of oats.
In addition, the following were sown: sunflower – 3,963.7 thousand hectares, soybeans – 1,201.3 thousand hectares, sugar beets – 250.1 thousand hectares.
