The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased to UAH 39.75, and the euro – to UAH 42.85.
The hryvnia exchange rate rose again against the dollar and euro on the cash market. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine in reference to tracking data on Wednesday, May 8.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks, to 39.75 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate also fell by 5 kopecks, to 42.85 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 39.25 Hryvnia, and a euro for 42.15 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.22-39.25 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
In this regard, yesterday the National Bank of Ukraine lowered the official dollar exchange rate for the fourth consecutive day – 39.2966 UAH (-0.0595 UAH). The euro exchange rate today is 42.3087 UAH (-0.0896 UAH).
Let us remind you that in April in the cash market the dollar selling rate increased by 1.8%, to UAH 39.64. At the end of the month it rose above 40 UAH/dollar, but subsequently fell slightly. The official rate updated historical highs and reached 39.78 UAH/dollar on April 22.
