The absolute majority of Naftogaz’s net income will be used to pay dividends to the state.
The net consolidated income of Naftogaz in 2023 reached UAH 23.1 billion against a loss of UAH 79.1 billion in 2022. The company’s press service reported this on Tuesday, May 7.
It is indicated that the consolidated financial statements have been audited by an international independent auditor and approved by the company’s supervisory board. Now the reports are sent for consideration and approval of the shareholder – the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The basis for the profitability of the business areas is the significantly better financial results of the enterprises of the Naftogaz group,” the statement said.
It is planned that the absolute majority of Naftogaz’s profits will be used to pay dividends to the state.
We remind you that by the end of 2023, Naftogaz paid more than 90.2 billion hryvnias in tax payments. Of this amount, 6.8 billion was received by local budgets.
And in March of this year it became known that Naftogaz increased contributions to the state budget.
