In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 13 kopecks, to 39.34-39.39 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia for the second day in a row. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, May 3.
The official exchange rate for the first day of next week is set at UAH 39.3969. for 1 dollar (-0.1376 UAH). In this regard, the euro rose slightly in price – 42.3359 UAH (+0.0261 UAH).

Remind us that in April, Ukrainians increased their purchases of foreign currency by a quarter. In general, since the beginning of this year, the population of Ukraine bought more than $3.2 billion from banks.
