DTEK Energy paid almost UAH 15 billion in taxes to the budgets of all levels based on the results of 2023. His press service reported this on Thursday, May 2.
“By the end of 2023, DTEK Energy paid UAH 14.8 billion in taxes, which is 16.5% more than in 2022 (UAH 12.7 billion),” the statement said.
The company said that last year they invested a record of almost 11 billion UAH in the repair of thermal power plants and coal mining in Ukraine, compared to 6 billion UAH in 2022.
Also last year, 1.3 billion UAH was spent to create a stock of critical and reserve equipment in case of shelling.
At the same time, in March-April of this year, the Russians damaged or destroyed more than 80% of DTEK’s thermal generation. According to preliminary data, about UAH 14 billion ($350 million) is needed to update the capacity. The company will allocate a large part of the funds for the restoration from its own resources.
It was previously reported that in 2023, the DTEK group paid UAH 40.2 billion in taxes and fees. The company significantly reinvested in the state budget and invested in the construction of new capacities and the development of electrical networks.
