The exchange rate of the dollar is growing at exchange offices

The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine rose to 39.90 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate was 42.90 hryvnia.

The hryvnia exchange rate continues to decline against the dollar on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, May 2.

So, today the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine has increased by 5 kopecks – to 39.90 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate has not changed – 42.90 Hryvnia.

Exchange offices bought dollars on average for 39.40 UAH, and euros for 42.20 UAH.

In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.58-39.63 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 3 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.

The National Bank of Ukraine raised the official dollar exchange rate the day before – 39.6370 UAH (+0.1219 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.2986 UAH (-0.0655 UAH).

Remind us that in April, Ukrainians increased their purchases of foreign currency by a quarter. In general, since the beginning of this year, the population of Ukraine bought more than $3.2 billion from banks.
