“On June 9, the NBU printed UAH 70 billion for the budget in just one day, and since the beginning of the large-scale raid, the regulator has transferred UAH 190 billion to the Ministry of Finance,” the report said. .

The publication recalls that during the war, Ukraine lost more than two-thirds of budget revenues, so the central bank became the main “sponsor” of funding in the war.

“Although for such an award title, Ukrainians have to pay a high price in the form of depreciated income and save the hryvnia,” the newspaper notes.

Meanwhile, a draft law was registered in the Verkhovna Rada, which proposes to allow the NBU to print money without restrictions.

According to the NBU, the total amount of assistance declared and provided by allies in Ukraine is $ 30 billion. Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has received more than $ 7 billion to cover the state budget deficit.
