The National Bank of Ukraine significantly reduced the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. The American currency accelerated its decline after a historic high. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, April 23.
So, the official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 39.5860. for 1 dollar (-0.1976 UAH). In turn, the euro exchange rate also fell, but less noticeably – 42.2620 UAH (-0.0498 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 16 kopecks to 39.58-39.59 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
And in the cash market, the dollar fell by 35 kopecks – 39.75 UAH.
