The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine fell to 39.75 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate fell to 42.80 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened sharply against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Tuesday, April 23.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 35 kopecks to 39.75 Hryvnia, and the euro decreased by 30 kopecks to 42.80 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 39.15 hryvnia, and euros for 42.30 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.61-39.66 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 9 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Last day, the National Bank of Ukraine reduced the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia after a historical high at the level of UAH 39.7836 (-0.0043 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.3118 UAH (-0.0703 UAH).
