The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to 40.00 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 43.05 hryvnia.
The hryvnia again fell in price against the dollar and euro on the cash market. The American currency reached the level of 40 hryvnia, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing monitoring data on Friday, April 19.
Today, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine increased by another 5 kopecks to 40.00 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to 43.05 Hryvnia.
Exchange offices bought dollars for an average of 39.50 UAH, euros for 42.35 UAH.
In the interbank market today the rate is at the level of 39.62-39.65 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 4 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Last day, the National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia to a new historical maximum – UAH 39.6037 (+0.0586 UAH). The highest rate was only on April 17 – 39.5737 UAH/dollar. The euro exchange rate is 42.2789 UAH (+0.2227 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency updated records more than once.
