Opendatabot says that the most popular directions in which business moves are the Kiev and Transcarpathian regions.

Almost 19 thousand companies have moved to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion, of which more than 1000 have moved from the city to the region. Opendatabot reported it.

“The most popular direction in which business moves is the Kiev and Transcarpathian regions among all companies, wholesalers often move,” the message said.

Of the total number of companies that changed their location since the beginning of the whole war, more than 1000 moved from the city to the region. It was noted that half of them – more than 600 businesses – left Kyiv, and another 60 or 5.1% – from the Odessa region.

Businesses choose Kyiv region for relocation from big cities – 546 relocations. This is almost every second business move since the start of a major war.

The most popular route is from Kyiv to the Kyiv region: 359 relocations – that is, 30% of all cases when a business moves to the region happened on this route.

In second and third place are the routes from Lviv to Kyiv region and from Kyiv to Transcarpathia – 2.7% and 2.6%, respectively (30-32 enterprises).

Leading the relocations are companies engaged in wholesale trade – 344 relocations (29.3%) and the transportation industry – 92 relocations (7.8%).

As previously reported, Ukrainian infrastructure destroyed by Russian attacks is being restored by companies from Austria, Germany, Denmark and Turkey.

When and how will Ukraine be restored?
