In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased by 20 kopecks to 39.43-39.45 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate for the fifth consecutive day, after which it updated the historical record. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, April 12.
The official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 39,399. for 1 dollar (+0.2314 UAH). The highest rate was only on March 27 – 39.3430 UAH/dollar.
In turn, the euro exchange rate decreased slightly and at the beginning of next week it will be 41.9678 UAH (-0.0512 UAH).

At the same time, in the cash market the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks – 39.50 UAH/dollar.
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar’s exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency updated records more than once.
It was also noted today that the exchange rate of the euro against the dollar fell to its lowest level since the beginning of the year.
