The selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine rose to 39.40 hryvnia, and the euro fell to 42.85 hryvnia.
The hryvnia continues to decline against the dollar on the cash market. But the Ukrainian currency strengthened against the euro, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing monitoring data on Thursday, April 11.
In the morning, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks to 39.40 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased by 10 kopecks to 42.85 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.90 UAH, and euros for 42.15 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.05-39.07 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 2 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia for the third day in a row – 39.0232 UAH (+0.0287 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.3616 UAH (+0.0097 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency updated records more than once. And the historical maximum was recorded on March 27 – 39.34 UAH/dollar.
