The average cash dollar selling rate rose to 39.35 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate fell to 42.90 hryvnia.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia fell slightly against the dollar and the euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Tuesday, April 9.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks – to 39.35 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks – to 42.90 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.85 hryvnia, and euros for 42.20 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 39.00-39.03 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 3 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Let us remind you that yesterday the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia after declining for three days in a row – 38.9882 UAH (+0.1445 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.2008 UAH (+0.1098 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency repeatedly updated records. And the historical maximum was recorded on March 27 – 39.34 UAH/dollar.
