The State Property Fund has completed an inventory of state land assets, which will begin to be leased through online auctions on the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales. Farmers will have access to the state agricultural land market through online auctions in the electronic trading system thanks to the Land Bank project. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
“The implementation of the Land Bank project will allow farmers to gain access to the market of state agricultural lands through online auctions in the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales. It will provide a price of market rent, which depends on the location, quality of the land. and the availability of infrastructure. The initial price will be 12% of the normative monetary valuation of the land,” said the statement.
It is reported that the total amount of agricultural land of the state is about 806 thousand hectares, of which:
386 thousand hectares – under the management of the State Property Fund;
277 thousand hectares – under the management of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences;
99.2 thousand hectares – under the management of the Ministry of Justice;
more than 40 thousand hectares are under the management of other ministries.
