The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened slightly at the beginning of the week against the dollar and euro in the cash market. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine in reference to tracking data on Monday, April 8.

So, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks, to 39.30 UAH, the euro exchange rate also fell by 5 kopecks, to 42.85 UAH.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 38.80 Hryvnia, and euros for 42.15 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market today the rate is at the level of 38.85-38.89 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s closing.
Let us remind you that on Friday the National Bank reduced the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate for the third day in a row – 38.8437 UAH (-0.1764 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.0910 UAH. for 1 euro (-0.2575 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency repeatedly updated records. And the historical maximum was recorded on March 27 – 39.34 UAH/dollar.
