The average dollar selling rate decreased to 39.35 hryvnia, while the euro exchange rate remained stable at 42.90 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened again against the dollar in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, April 5.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by another 10 kopecks to 39.35 Hryvnia, while the euro exchange rate remained stable – 42.90 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 38.85 UAH, and a euro for 42.20 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 38.87-39.00 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia for the second day in a row – UAH 39.0201. The euro exchange rate is 42.3485 UAH (+0.0842 UAH).
Let us remind you that in March the dollar exchange rate increased by about 1 Hryvnia. The official rate of the NBU increased by 2.7%. This happened despite the fact that the foreign exchange deficit in the interbank market was not as significant at the end of 2023.
It was also reported that in March the National Bank increased sales of dollars by almost 20%.
