Ukrainian drone strikes have disabled at least 10-15% of Russia’s oil refining infrastructure.
Ukrainian strikes at Russian oil refineries could knock out more than 15% of Russia’s oil refining capacity. A NATO official spoke about this in a comment to Reuters on condition of anonymity.
“In terms of damage, the strikes probably knocked out more than 10% of Russia’s oil refining capacity, maybe more than 15%. Depending on the extent of the damage, repairs could take significant time ,” he says.

The official added that NATO in Russia sees less energy and critical infrastructure facilities to protect from Ukrainian attacks.
Drone strikes are having “a bigger and bigger impact on the Russian economy,” a NATO spokesman said.
We remind you that since the beginning of the year, 13 Russian refineries have been attacked. The drone attack led to the year’s biggest weekly increase in global oil prices.
The United States called on Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, as drone attacks on refineries could lead to an increase in world oil prices.
Russia plans to remove damaged oil refineries from repair in early June.
