The official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia is falling for the second day in a row. This is confirmed by the data on the website of the National Bank on Thursday, April 4.
Thus, the dollar exchange rate on the last day of the working week was set at UAH 39.0201 (-0.1752 UAH). But the euro rose a little in price and tomorrow it is worth 42.3485 UAH (+0.0842 UAH).
In today’s interbank market, the depreciation of the US currency also continued – a decrease of 16 kopecks, at 38.99-39.01 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar fell in price by 10 kopecks, to 39.45 UAH/dollar.
Let us remind you that in March the dollar exchange rate increased by approximately 1 Hryvnia. The official rate of the NBU increased by 2.7%. This happened despite the fact that the foreign exchange deficit in the interbank market was not as significant at the end of 2023.
It was also reported that in March the National Bank increased sales of dollars by almost 20%.
