Russia plans to decommission damaged oil refineries by early June. This was reported by RosSMI in connection with the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolai Shulginov.
“Repairs are ongoing at the plants. We plan to take some refineries out of repair in April-May, possibly until the beginning of June. All damaged facilities will be put back into service,” he said.
We remind you that since the beginning of the year, 13 Russian refineries have been attacked. The drone attack led to the year’s biggest weekly increase in global oil prices.
The United States called on Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, as drone attacks on refineries could lead to an increase in world oil prices.
