The National Bank of Ukraine raised the dollar against the hryvnia after falling for three days in a row. As a result, the official dollar exchange rate is again above 39 hryvnia, according to data on the regulator’s website on Monday, April 1.

The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 39.0749 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0775 UAH). Meanwhile, the euro exchange rate decreased slightly – 42.1384 UAH (-0.0217 UAH).
Today, on the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 13 kopecks – to 39.10-39.13 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
And in the cash market the rate fell by 5 kopecks – to 39.40 UAH/dollar.
Let us remind you that in March the dollar exchange rate increased by about 1 Hryvnia. The official rate of the NBU increased by 2.7%. This happened despite the fact that the foreign exchange deficit in the interbank market was not as significant at the end of 2023.
