The average selling rate of the dollar fell by 5 kopecks, to 39.40 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks, to 42.90 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 38.90 UAH, and euros for 42.20 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 38.97-39.01 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Last Friday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate after a historic high of UAH 38.9974 (-0.2240 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.1601 hryvnia per 1 euro (-0.2069 UAH).
Let us remind you that in March the dollar exchange rate increased by approximately 1 Hryvnia. The official rate of the NBU increased by 2.7%. This happened despite the fact that the foreign exchange deficit in the interbank market was not as significant at the end of 2023.
