Agricultural producers in Odessa, Ternopil, Poltava, Khmelnitsky, Vinnytsia and Nikolaev regions sowed more grains and legumes.
In Ukraine, 476.7 thousand hectares have been sown with spring grain and leguminous crops, which is 8.3% more than this time last year. The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported this on Friday, March 29.
It is reported that the speed of sowing peas is 51.1% higher than last year, 81.8 thousand hectares were sown, barley – by 35.6%, 291.5 thousand hectares were sown, wheat – 27.8% more, 68 were sown . 3 thousand hectares, 17.6 % more oats, 28.7 thousand hectares were sown.
Agricultural producers in six regions planted more grains and legumes:

in the Odessa region, 7 thousand hectares of wheat, 41.5 thousand hectares of barley, 28.4 thousand hectares of peas and 1.5 thousand hectares of oats were sown.

in Ternopil region – 14.4 thousand hectares of wheat, 32.2 thousand hectares of barley, 3.1 thousand hectares of peas and 1.1 thousand hectares of oats.

in the Poltava region – 6.4 thousand hectares of wheat, 56.2 thousand hectares of barley, 4.7 thousand hectares of peas and 2.3 thousand hectares of oats.

in the Khmelnitsky region – 7.2 thousand hectares of wheat, 23.7 thousand hectares of barley, 0.8 thousand hectares of peas and 0.5 thousand hectares of oats.

in Vinnytsia region – 5.9 thousand hectares of wheat, 27.1 thousand hectares of barley, 4.4 thousand hectares of peas and 0.2 thousand hectares of oats.

in the Nikolaev region – 2.2 thousand hectares of wheat, 33.4 thousand hectares of barley, 17.6 thousand hectares of peas and 0.5 thousand hectares of oats.
