On the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 26 kopecks at the end of the day – up to 39.28-39.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine significantly increased the exchange rate of the dollar and euro against the hryvnia. The historic highs were updated, according to data on the regulator’s website on Monday, March 25.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 39.2298 UAH (+0.3223 UAH). The previous record was on March 21 – 39.1399 UAH per 1 dollar.
The euro exchange rate on Tuesday will be 42.4898 UAH (+0.3646 UAH). This is also a new high. The euro was higher on March 24 – 42.4693.
In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 26 kopecks at the end of the day – at 39.28-39.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
At the same time, in the cash market the dollar exchange rate increased by 35 kopecks – to UAH 39.40 on sale.
We remind you that last Friday the National Bank lowered the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia after a sharp increase and renewal of historical highs.
It also became known that last week the NBU sharply increased sales of foreign currency. This is happening for the third time in a row.
