The average dollar selling rate increased to 39.25 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 42.85 hryvnia.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro dropped significantly on the cash market at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Monday, March 25.
The average dollar selling rate increased by 20 kopecks, to 39.25 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks, to 42.85 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 38.75 UAH, and euros for 42.15 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 39.13-39.16 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 11 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Remind us that on Friday the National Bank lowered the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia after a sharp rise and renewal of historic highs. Now the rate is set at 38.9075 UAH. for 1 dollar (-0.0159 UAH). One euro is worth 42.1252 UAH. for 1 euro (-0.3441 UAH).
It also became known that last week the NBU sharply increased sales of foreign currency. This is happening for the third time in a row.
