On March 18, a grant program from Forbes Ukraine and PIN-UP will begin, aimed at supporting micro and small enterprises operating in front-line zones.
Businessmen registered or actually working in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Lugansk, Nikolaev, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson and Chernigov regions can take part in the project.
“Helping each other in difficult times should not only be a slogan, but also a personal position. Understanding the complexity of doing business in times of war, especially in regions close to conflict, we would like to show our collective support and united strength in the effort to build an economically successful nation“, – speaking Igor Zotko, owner of PIN-UP Ukraine.
In the final, the jury will select 15 winners and award a fund of UAH 5,000,000 to them. Participants will receive grants in the amount of 200,000, 300,000 or 500,000 UAH.
“For the most vulnerable part of Ukrainian business: micro- and small businesses in front-line regions, staff shortages, logistical problems, power outages and the risk of being hit by Russian shells is stronger than anywhere else in Ukraine. They are forced to maneuver through problems just to survive and continue working. Without support, doing so is difficult and sometimes impossible. We must give help to the front-line small businesses so that after the victory they will be among those businesses thanks to which Ukraine can recover and develop.“, commented Vladimir Fedorin, founding editor of Forbes Ukraine.
