“We have two stations that have been badly damaged, the damage is great. Both the equipment for generating electricity and its supply to the network have been damaged,” he said.

But this, say, combined with a large number of missiles aimed at our stations, maybe never happened before. ,” – he said and emphasized that this can be called the biggest attack on the Ukrainian energy system.
Currently, electrical engineers are doing preliminary work to connect de-energized people to backup power sources.
“The destruction is significant. If we talk about restoration in the future, then the help of all involved participants and companies and international donors will be needed. And the state represented by the Ministry of Energy, the Cabinet of Ministers, but it will be a while, when we understand what exactly and where will need to be done and how. We hope for help from all parties to recover from this attack as soon as possible, Sakharuk finished.
We remind you that on March 22, the Russians carried out the largest attack on the energy sector of Ukraine. A powerful missile strike hit the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station. Hundreds of thousands of consumers were left without power in the regions, but connections have begun.
