Dollar and euro rates fell at exchange offices after record growth. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Thursday, March 21.
The average selling rate of the dollar immediately fell by 15 kopecks – to 39.20 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate fell by 10 kopecks – to 42.90 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.70 hryvnia, and euros for 42.20 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate in the morning was 39.01-39.08 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 6 kopecks compared to the closing of the previous day.
We remind you that on March 20, the National Bank again raised the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate to a historical maximum of UAH 39.1399 (+0.0061 UAH). The previous maximum was recorded on March 19 – 39.1338 UAH per 1 dollar. The euro exchange rate today is 42.4394 UAH (-0.0247 UAH).
Meanwhile, the National Bank said that this situation in the foreign exchange market does not cause concern.
