In the interbank market, the American currency exchange rate decreased by 12 kopecks – to 38.65-38.68 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the official dollar exchange rate after it hit a historic high. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Thursday, March 14.
The exchange rate on the last working day of the week is set at 38.6854 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.1024 UAH). In turn, the euro tomorrow is worth 42.287 UAH per 1 euro (-0.1313 UAH).
Today in the interbank market the exchange rate of the American currency decreased by 12 kopecks – to 38.65-38.68 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s closing.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate remained stable – UAH 38.90.
We remind you that on March 14, the National Bank reduced the discount rate by 0.5% – to 14.5% per annum. This came as a surprise to most financial market participants.
Later, the NBU announced that Ukraine will receive $10 billion in April-March 2024.
