The specialized prosecutor’s office transferred to the management of the National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA) about $1 million of the seized funds of the former chairman of the IHC in the Chernihiv region. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General on Tuesday, March 12.
At the request of the prosecutors of the Chernigov Special Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Central region, the court seized and transferred to the management of ARMA funds in the amount of 963.6 thousand dollars and 22.5 thousand euros, seized during searches from the former chairman of VVK in Chernigov regional TCC and joint venture.
The officer received undue benefits from those liable for military service for declaring them unfit for military service during mobilization. Thus, he contributed to the residents of Chernigov in avoiding conscription.
The former VVK leader was declared suspicious. He is currently in custody.
