The average cash dollar selling rate increased to UAH 38.65, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 42.30.
The hryvnia continues to decline against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Tuesday, March 12.
So, the average dollar selling rate increased by 10 kopecks to UAH 38.65, and the euro exchange rate increased even more – by 15 kopecks to UAH 42.30.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 38.15 UAH, and euros for 41.60 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 38.18-38.22 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 4 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar exchange rate for the second day in a row – to the level of 38.3825 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.2415 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 41.9559 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.2602 UAH).
We remind you that last week the National Bank’s net dollar sales decreased to $133.69 million. This is the lowest number in 11 months.
It has also been reported that e-hryvnia will be tested in Ukraine. It will not replace the cash or non-cash form of the hryvnia, but will be their addition, the NBU assured.
