On the interbank market, the price of the American currency rose by 11 kopecks to 38.14-38.18 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. The American currency rose in price after falling for two consecutive days. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, March 8.
The official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 38.141. for 1 dollar (+0.0574 UAH). The euro exchange rate will be 41.6957 UAH (+0.2074 UAH).
Today on the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 11 kopecks to 38.14-38.18 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
At the same time, in the cash market the dollar fell by 5 kopecks to 38.45 UAH/dollar.
Earlier it became known that in February, international reserves of Ukraine “lost weight” by almost 4% – up to $ 37.052 billion. Their volume was affected by the monetary interventions of the National Bank and the payment of the country’s debts.
It has also been reported that e-hryvnia will be tested in Ukraine. It will not replace the cash or non-cash form of the hryvnia, but will be a supplement to them, the National Bank assured.
