The return of large international companies to the Ukrainian market is supporting the wartime economy, the department said.
The brands of one of the world’s largest distribution groups in the fashion industry, the Spanish Inditex – Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home – have officially returned to Ukraine. The Foreign Ministry announced this on Friday, March 8.
The department recalled that since 2022 they have been working with all leading international brands that left the Ukrainian market due to the outbreak of a full-scale war with the Russian Federation in order to return their work to Ukraine.
It is noted that the return of Inditex is the next step after the continuation of the work of McDonald’s, H&M and others.
“The return of large international companies to the Ukrainian market creates new jobs, gives them access to high-quality goods and services, supports Ukraine’s economy during the war and deepens its economic integration of the world, strengthening the confidence of international business and investors in our state and its success,” – said the message.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked partners for supporting these efforts and promised to continue working to continue international business in Ukraine and attract new companies.
A week ago, the media reported that the Zara chain of stores would return to Ukraine. The opening is planned for early April.
We remind you that in November last year, the operation of H&M stores in Ukraine resumed.
