A record amount of cargo was exported along the Ukrainian sea corridor in February of this year – 8 million tons. This was announced on Friday, March 1, by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communities, Territory and Infrastructure, Alexander Kubrakov.
“Cargo turnover of Greater Odessa ports in the shortest month of the year reached 8 million tons, of which 5.2 million tons were products of Ukrainian farmers. These are export records not only along of the Ukrainian corridor, but also during the period of mass aggression,” the report said.
It is noted that export figures are approaching those at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

“Today, more than 90% of all agricultural exports pass through the ports of Greater Odessa and the ports of the Danube. Ukraine remains one of the main guarantors of food security, especially for those export of grain to African and Asian countries,” added Kubrakov.
We remind you that Ukraine exported 20.239 million tons of grains and legumes in the 2023/2024 marketing year.
