In the current week, the National Bank of Ukraine doubled sales of foreign currency in the interbank market. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Saturday, February 24.

Thus, in five working days, the NBU sold $648.8 million. This is a new high since the beginning of the year and doubled last week.

Overall, since the beginning of 2024, the National Bank sold more than $3.8 billion in the interbank market, and earned only $18.2 million.

We remind you that this week the official dollar exchange rate has increased significantly and updated the historical maximum three times. The growth just stopped on Friday.
